This fall, School of Communication professor Charles Lewis will be a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University’s Reuters Institute for the study of Journalism.

While at Oxford, Lewis will be researching a new multidisciplinary field, which he calls, "Accountability Studies." Lewis discusses this field in his book "935 Lies" that he describes as the "efficacy and increased journalistic and academic data, research and reporting collaboration, in the context of credible, accountability information."

Lewis, who is the executive editor of the Investigative Reporting Workshop (IRW), is in discussion with Oxford to write a book on issues related to Accountability Studies, ideally to be published by IRW and the Reuters Institute in 2016.
