Dominguez Distills Science with President Obama for DNews

Still from Discovery program TestTube Plus with host Trace Dominguez
Trace Dominguez, an alumnus of American University School of Communication, has built a mini empire of science video programming at Discovery that is both fun and smart.

As the White House welcomed some of the brightest minds for the White House Science Fair in April, the popular Discovery web series DNews host Trace Dominguez, SOC/MA ’10, welcomed President Obama as a co-host providing science-focused updates.  Dominguez produces, hosts, and writes the flagship Discovery Digital Network show, which claims over one million subscribers.

Since 2012, Dominguez has made a career of turning complex science into straightforward and thought-provoking stories for a variety of fast-paced, fun and fact-filled Discovery programming, including TestTube PlusSeeker Daily and DNews Minute.

He also has his own popular YouTube channel with over 4,000 subscribers, and 13,000 followers on Twitter @tracedominguez and on Instagram @trace501.
