AU's Entrepreneurial Programs Announce 1776 Partnership
AU enjoys a unique a partnership between three of its schools and 1776, a startup incubator platform based in Washington, D.C. The partnership serves as a vehicle for collaboration between 1776 and AU, where 1776 provides these AU academic units access to 1776 Campus programming and events as well as discounted memberships to select AU students.
American University's School of Communication, Kogod School of Business, and School of International Service each offer targeted degrees and certificates focused on various areas of entrepreneurship. These include entrepreneurship in media, the creation of sustainable business, nonprofit and social entrepreneurial ventures, and the creation of social enterprises.

AU’s School of Communication, in a unique partnership with the Kogod School of Business, offers a new MA in Media Entrepreneurship (MAME) program aimed at training the next generation of innovators, managers, and idea leaders to pioneer fresh concepts for delivering news and information.
