Never has the free flow of information been more important, as citizens depend on sober, unbiased and comprehensive information for safety and national security.
But at a time when our nation is engaged in two foreign wars, the number of traditional foreign correspondents sending information back to this country is actually diminishing. We believe this is irresponsible, at best.
The Foreign Correspondence Network (FCN) provides students the tools and guidance they need to take Foreign Correspondence (COMM-544) at American University’s School of Communication (SOC). The course is taught by Professor Bill Gentile. (See This Page.)
Our mission is to help students contribute to the free flow of information, to participate in the international dialogue, that is foreign correspondence.
