Angie Chuang

New America Media

SOC journalism professor Angie Chuang is pursuing research related to ethnic media in the Washington,D.C., area with New America Media, the nation's oldest and most influential ethnic-media collaborative. SOC co-hosted the area's first ethnic media award ceremony in the D.C. area. Chuang's students are mapping and surveying ethnic media outlets for NAM, and are writing profiles for the organization's Web site and an upcoming D.C.-area media directory.
