As the Graduate Advisor, Jean McGee advises all of our graduate students, full-time, part-time, and weekend. New students can expect to be registered by Jean in their first semester at SOC. Once registered, a note will be sent via their American University email address. She also handles all registration for weekend students (during the course of the entire 20-month program). Please note that all other students are expected to register themselves after their first semester here at SOC.

Walk-in appointments welcome. As the Graduate Certificate Advisor, Jodi Tirengel advises all of the prospective Digital Media Skills certificate students and current students. Students can expect to be registered by Jodi. Any questions about the certificate application process can also be directed to her.

Jill Grinager works closely with doctoral students from the point of application through degree conferral. As an academic advisor, she helps doctoral students navigate the course selection process and oversees the electronic submission of dissertations providing guidance on distribution and embargo policy.
