Current Students: Academic Warnings

"School of Communication students are required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 in order to enroll in Communication courses at the 300 level or above. Students who earn a cumulative grade point average between 2.00 - 2.49 will be placed on academic warning and required to meet with their academic advisor to develop a plan for raising their cumulative grade point average to 2.50 or above. After a second semester with a cumulative grade point average between 2.00 - 2.49, advisors will assist students in declaring a major outside of the School of Communication. Students who fall below a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 will be placed on academic probation.

In addition to meeting with their academic advisors and instructors, students will want to visit the Academic Support Center to utilize these academic student services."
