• Develop a weekly time management plan with you Academic Advisor and attend a Time Management Workshop
  
• Attend Supplemental Instruction Workshops for courses such as ECON-100, ECON-200, MATH-211, and STAT-202
• Use your General Education courses to explore majors and minors at AU
• Visit the Writing Lab for help with developing written assignments
• Re-read the Freshmen Forgiveness policy
  
• Mid-October, begin to look at your Spring Registration To-Do List

• Meet with a career counselor at the Career Center
  
• Research National Scholarships through the Office of Merit Awards
• Apply for summer jobs within your major of interest and meet with people within your community about real-world career opportunities

• Attend Welcome Week at AU!
  
• Attend the Student Activities Involvement Fair 
• Research student activities on campus
  
• Scout out the organizations you want to join and the leadership positions that would be a good fit for you
• Find a volunteer opportunity!
