Irrigating DC Food Deserts will discuss how DC plans on alleviating hunger and eliminating the grocery-gap in Wards 7 and 8. A conversation about living on a food stamp budget and the need for more volunteers in local food pantries will follow. We will be taking canned food donations for Bread for the City, a food pantry in South East DC.
