Direct admission to the School of Public Affairs is offered to high school seniors and transfer students who meet AU's undergraduate admissions standards. All applicants apply to American University. A separate application is not required to be admitted to the School of Public Affairs. All applicants, regardless of intended major, are evaluated using the same admission criteria and standards.
