Key Announces First Annual Alumni Conference

The Key Executive Leadership Programs and the Key Alumni Conference Committee are excited to announce the first annual Key Executive Leadership Alumni Conference: “Extraordinary Leadership in Extraordinary Times” on AU's campus May 20 and 21.

On Thursday night, May 20, 2010, we will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Key Executive Leadership Programs. Robert M. Tobias, Director of the Key Executive Leadership Programs and Dr. Donald G. Zauderer, former Director of the Key Executive Program and Professor Emeritus, will discuss the history of Key and how it has changed over the years. This talk will be followed by a reception. All are welcome to this free event

A full day of conference activities are planned for Friday May 21, 2010. Key is excited to have Dr. Neil Kerwin (SPA/BA'71), President of American University and former Key professor, as our keynote speaker. The conference will include multiple breakout sessions including, “Developing a Personal Leadership Philosophy,” “Coaching for Development,” and “Speaking as a Leader.” Each of these breakout sessions will be led by such notables as Dr. Michael Maccoby, President of The Maccoby Group, Dr. Ruth Zaplin, Assistant Director of the Key Program and Dr. Marilee Adams founder and president of the Inquiry Institute and Key professor.
