- Andrew Brannegan is presently a third-year PhD Public Administration and Policy student at American University’s School of Public Affairs. He received his Master of Public Policy from American University in 2010. His areas of research include education and child welfare policy. While in DC, he has worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to American University, Andrew taught elementary school special education in Oakland, California. He is from Maryland and received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from Wake Forest University.
