Janet Nagler

• Janet Nagler has been an Academic Counselor at American University since 1981, when she began advising adult and nondegree students, both graduate and undergraduate in the (former) Continuing Education Advising Center. In the summer of 2000 she transferred to the College of Arts & Sciences, where she advised adult, undergraduate students as well as freshman and sophomore degree students. She has been an Academic Counselor in the Department of Public Administration since the summer of 2001. She has been an active member and past president of the Experiential Learning Assessment Network (ELAN). In DPAP she advises MPA and MPP students, as well as students in joint Bachelor/Masters programs, the JD/MPA and JD/MPP programs and certificate programs.
