Bordallo (Guam) with oversight for the Congresswoman's work on the House Armed Services Committee, as well as transportation and homeland security issues. Prior to working in the House of Representatives he was the Executive Officer for the National Guard Bureau’s Office of Legislative Liaison where he provided counsel to senior National Guard leaders on legislative matters. Matt also ran his own consulting firm, Herrmann Consulting, which provided strategic political and website communication advice to local campaigns, advocacy groups, small businesses and various non-profit organizations. Matt designed the course to give students a unique, ‘real world’ look at how technology is impacting the entire American political system from Congress to interest groups to Executive branch agencies.
