Ted Tschudy

- A seasoned OD practitioner and professor, Dr. Ted Tschudy has a long history with American University and AU/NTL. He earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration and M.A. in Government at AU, with late AU/NTL co-founder Dr. Morley Segal as one of his professors. His B.A. is in psychology/sociology from Kent State. Dr. Tschudy has taught in the AU/NTL program for over 20 years, as instructor for courses including Practicum, Consultation Skills, Introduction to OD, and Interventions I (Team Dynamics). He is an ex-Board Chair of NTL and a highly sought-after trainer and consultant for NTL clients. His leadership in AU/NTL includes chairing the Director Search Committee in 2005, advancing the Distance Learning and curriculum transformation initiatives, and advising students and program administration. Ted has published book chapters and practitioner articles. He is the lead creator of the “OD Map” (see version in Jones & Brazzel (Eds), The NTL handbook of organization development and change, 2006).
