Ruth Wagner

- Dr. Ruth Scogna Wagner earned her Ph.D. in Human and Organization Systems from the Fielding Graduate University and was co-winner of an Academy of Management “Best Paper” award the same year for her work on “The Human Element in DoD’s Transformation.” She also holds the MSOD degree from AU/NTL and a B.S. in Physics from University of North Carolina, Greensboro. After an early career in software and engineering, Ruth led a change management practice of 50 consultants as a Vice President for the American Management Systems. Most recently, she is an independent OD consultant with practice focusing on Federal agencies. With faculty teammates Kathleen Cavanaugh and Julie Cincotta, Ruth led a transformation of the research methods curriculum for AU/NTL. This team created a powerful, results-focused experiential course that readies students for the consulting projects in the International Residency and for their professional practice. Ruth is a member of the NTL Institute.
