ACES Application

The ACES Program is held both Fall and Spring semesters. The program is open to American University and DC Consortium students, studying at the graduate and undergraduate level (at least a second semester sophomore) who are maintaining a B average, and who are at least 18 years of age. Other criteria:

  1. Must be able to pass security clearance. (Clearances will begin prior to acceptance in the program.)
  2. Must be registered for the course for both the academic and internship components.
  3. Student must demonstrate that he/she is a responsible, dependable, and mature individual and pass a personal post-application interview with the instructor.

For consideration applications must be submitted by August 31 for Fall semester, and by December 31 for Spring semester.

A complete application includes:

  1. Application
  2. Resume & Transcripts
  3. Letter of interest
  4. At least two references
