What is WIPAR

What is WIPAR?

Located in the School of Public Affairs at American University, the Washington Institute for Public Affairs Research (WIPAR) serves as a bridge between academic researchers and the broader public affairs community, including public agencies, corporations, private foundations, nonprofit organizations, and interested media. WIPAR strives to share the lessons of academic research with those people and organizations that can put them to use. Practically, WIPAR advises faculty and guides them through the grant proposal process. The Institute also helps disseminate research findings through public panels and briefings.
