Donelle Broskow oversees operations of bridge programs within the School of Professional & Extended Studies. This includes the AU Gap Program, Mentorship Program (DC, Greece, and England), Graduate Professional Studies, English Language Training Academy, and the
Test Prep Programs. Donelle also contributes to new
Donelle joined American University and the School of Professional &
Extended Studies in April 2012. Donelle has an M.S. in Education (Higher Education Administration) and a
B.A. History from the University of Kansas.
Associate Director, Undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate Programs
As the Associate Director of Undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate Programs, Lana manages the admissions and recruitment functions and advising of the AU Gap Program. In addition, Lana coordinates AU's Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) and the Test Prep Programs. Lana joined American University and the School of Professional &
Extended Studies in October 2011. She holds an Masters of Public Affairs in Global Policy Analysis and
Developmental Evaluation from Indiana University’s School of Public and
Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Lana received her B.A. in Political
Science from American University's School of Public Affairs, in 2009.
Assistant Director of Bridge Programs
Elizabeth assists with the advising team
for the AU Gap Program and works with students to make
sure the programs meet student's individualized needs through both their
courses and field practicum experiences.
Elizabeth also coordinates the Mentorship Program (DC, England, and Greece). She holds an MA in International Training and Education from
American University’s School of Education. Elizabeth received her BS in
Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in
Amy Morrill Bijeau Associate Director of Career & Internship Advising
Amy Morrill Bijeau has worked in higher education administration and
experiential learning for approximately 20 years. As the Associate
Director of Internships and Career Development for the School of
Professional and Extended Studies (SPExS), she provides ongoing guidance
regarding internship best practices and enjoys leveraging technology to support students. Amy has a MEd in Counseling and Higher Education Administration from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in French and Religion from Wake Forest University.
