Description: Eventually business is conducted over a meal and you will be judged based on how you conduct yourself. Being comfortable with different international styles of dining -- the place setting, silverware, glassware, toasting, silent codes of service, tipping, conversation and strategic seating tips for the host and guest of honor -- will give you greater confidence and social decorum to succeed. 85% a person is hirall business, eventually the important meetings are coned or promoted is due to savvy personal skills. Only 15% due to technical capability. Polished and poised personal skills coupled with cross-cultural awareness, international protocol competence and business etiquette will allow you to succeed in today's global business arena. Manners and know how at the table matter. The session will be conducted over a 90 minute period to include a dining tutorial luncheon of 3 or 4 courses.

Ms. Wendy Jones is the Director of Corporate &Government Affairs at The Protocol School of Washington. In this capacity, Ms. Jones manages PSOW's presence in the DC area including expanding brand visibility, business development, customer relations and periodically functions as a Master Trainer for the school. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Jones served as Director of Customer Relations in The Boeing Company's Washington, DC office where she developed a strong network of relationships with the US Congress;Executive Branch;diplomatic corps;aerospace industry;trade associations;hospitality;event management companies, and premier global institutions.Well-known in the DC area for her ability to leverage sponsorship with prestige organizations, she has worked closely with The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museums."A tenured graduate of PSOW, Ms. Jones brings 25 years of C-level management expertise to her position and has worked across a broad range of industries and organizations. This, along with her extensive network, will assist us in our growth and expansion strategy in the US and abroad." said PSOW President Ms. Pamela Eyring. Opened in June 2013, the office is in McLean, VA, where the school's founder, Dorothea Johnson, started the school in 1988. Ms. Jones earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Denison University and resides with her family in McLean VA.
