Ursula Leitzmann is an intercultural consultant and business coach based in Germany.

Ursula brings over 15 years of experience in the field of talent development and has worked across many industries with multinational clients worldwide. She was based in the United States for 13 years, returning to her native Germany in 2008. Focusing on authentic leadership in diverse work environments, her portfolio ranges from intercultural business and teambuilding training and leadership facilitation to increase engagement, to executive coaching. Her profound knowledge of organizational development complements her natural ability to connect with others, a valuable quality conducive to building trust when facilitating people´s development and growth.
 
She is licensed to deliver various assessment instruments for coaching and training interventions: the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), the Culture in the Workplace Questionnaire (CWq), the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICSI), the Situational Leadership II Model, the DiSC, and the Hogan Assessment Instruments.  She is a former board member of SIETAR USA, Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research. She served as guest lecturer at American University, Washington, DC, George Washington University, DC; Lesley University, MA; and the Goethe Institute, DC. In addition, she conducted intercultural communication, diversity and ethics training programs for the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, and facilitated conflict resolution workshops at Clark University, MA. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Applied Languages in Munich.

Ursula holds master’s degrees in Communication from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, and in Intercultural Relations from the University of the Pacific, CA. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. She is a certified life executive coach through The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), St. Raphael, CA.
