Visiting a large number of amazing NGO's (non-governmental organizations) and government agencies was my introduction to DC through the Washington Semester Program. I wrote a paper in Dr. Calabrese's class about the relationship between North and South Korea which began my interest in the subject. After a particularly stimulating series of lectures on the topic, I knew I had to study the issue further. One year later I was in Korea on a Fulbright!

I would advise everyone to attend the Washington Semester Program; it's a fabulous experience and you won't regret it!
