The Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS) program has been suspended. The information below is intended for archival purposes only.


WINS provides participants with the experiential learning opportunity of a professional DC internship. Students learn by doing in a fast-paced real-world setting at a wide range of federal agencies and private sector or American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian organizations.

Participants intern for 35-40 hours each week. In addition, as part of the Internship Seminar, each student will prepare a portfolio of their work experience and research.
