Modeled on the internationally-recognized Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute, but in a European context, this institute in Brussels, Belgium introduces students to the art and craft of lobbying in the European Union (EU). Students are immersed in the strategies, tactics, methods, techniques, regulations, and ethics of lobbying in Europe. Drawing on their rich body of experiences, prominent lobbyists involved in all aspects of their profession offer lectures on EU legal systems, rule making, EU relations with national capitals, EU-United States relations, and comparisons between U.S. and European policy making.
