CTRL - Research Support Workshop: Introduction to Mathematica (Updated 10/30/13)
CTRL's research support workshops are running. Join us this week for Introduction to Mathematica. Mathematica is a computational software program used in scientific, engineering, mathematical fields and other areas of technical computing. In this introductory workshop you will learn how to: evaluate simple expressions, find decimal approximations, and use palettes; manipulate some simple algebraic expressions; use the plot function and its options; set up and work with variables, functions, and expressions; work with lists, tables, vectors, and matrices; and solve equations and systems of equations. Check dates and times, read workshop descriptions, and register for attendance at: https://domino.american.edu/AU/CTRL/CTRL_TrainCal.nsf/Welcome. If you want to schedule in-class workshops for these programs or any other programs we support, please tell us about your needs here: https://american.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_cBZa3F5aX6N7TuJ.
