R is a programming language and an environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is an open source project which is similar to the S language and environment. R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modeling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, etc.) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. This workshop is designed for new users who have a basic understanding of R. In this workshop you will learn: types of R objects; useful commands; manipulating data; writing loops; and writing functions.
