Protect AU Data When Connecting From Off Campus


Do you work from home? Do you travel often? The Office of Information Technology wants to remind you to take advantage of AU's VPN service, which stands for a Virtual Private Network. The VPN provides you with a user-friendly way to connect securely back to AU resources, ensuring that all of your data traveling to and from your computer is protected from prying eyes.

Similar to your on campus experience, the system will perform a health check of your computer before granting access to the Network. The system will provide guidance if there are required remediation efforts. A computer connected to the VPN is recognized as an AU computer allowing you to connect to AU restricted resources, the Novell servers, all of your standard Novell network drives, and printers.
