President: Genesis Ingersoll (MA TESOL, 2007)
Genesis received her BFA in graphic design with minors in photography and art history from the University of Hartford in CT. Later, she taught EFL for two years at a private language school in Osaka, Japan. For the past year, she has been working at the Center for Applied Linguistics (with Emily) and is involved in various projects. She attended the 2007 TESOL conference in Seattle, WA, and presented in the Graduate Student Forum. She hopes to have a minute for some kayaking, hiking, etc. After that, she plans to remain at CAL and return to teaching part-time. |

Co- Events Coordinator: Caralyn Bushey (MA TESOL, 2005 )
Caralyn Bushey has been teaching ESL and EFL for ten years and also has been a lead teacher-trainer for the LADO TEFL Certificate since November 2001. She has a BA in English Literature from Southern Methodist University and a MA TESOL from American University. In addition to teaching ESL at LADO International College in Washington, DC and EFL for English Link in Prague where she also served as Director of Studies, Caralyn also taught English at Coastal Carolina Community College. In 2006 she also served as a State Department Senior English Fellow in Moscow where she taught English in the journalism faculty and Moscow State University and ELT pedagogy in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature. During her tenure in Moscow, Caralyn consulted on several curriculum design projects and assisted with the development of the Russian Unified Examination of English. |

Jacqueline Gasser received her BA at California State University, Monterey Bay, in Global Studies. She now teaches ESOL at Crossland High School in Prince George's County, Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, painting, doing embroidery, and playing kickball. |
