As you develop performance management plans for yourself and for your staff, we encourage you to take advantage of these professional workshops.
Required Courses for Managers, Department Chairs and Faculty Supervisors
These courses are offered throughout the year to facilitate integrating new staff into the university environment and to meet regulatory and policy requirements. Supervisors and managers are required to take several additional courses.

Faculty who are interested in registering for a professional development training offered by Human Resources can send their name, AU ID, and session title to training@american.edu. Confirmation of registration will be sent to your AU e-mail address. If you wish to cancel, send an e-mail to training@american.edu.
