Ally grew up in northeast Ohio, attending college in Cleveland. In college, she worked through the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning with youth and on community issues. She continued that work after college as a community organizer and returned to graduate school to broaden her social justice work. As a student at SIS, she is designing her own Master’s degree program, while interning, studying and playing bass with friends.
Degrees: Bachelors in Anthropology, with minors in Theatre and History from Case Western Reserve University.
Currently Master’s candidate in Interdisciplinary Studies, drawing on International Peace and Conflict Resolution, Anthropology and Human Rights, with a regional focus on Africa, in the School of International Service at American University.
