Alex Morrison got his start directing Spanish dialogues in high school, and since then has worked as a Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Still Photographer and Glidecam operator on a number of short films, fiction and non-fiction, including work in the art department on the feature film The Island.   Past experiences include those of a film equipment salesman for a major film equipment rental house; A/V specialist at TBWA/Chiat/Day, creator of an independent screening series in his hometown of Oberlin, Ohio; staffman at Camp Keewaydin and EXCO film instructor at Oberlin College. He has also traveled extensively within the National Parks.  Alex's films have been selected twice for the Hardacre Film Festival and he was selected as one of the ten best filmmakers of the year by Ithaca College.  To view his current film, video and photographic work, visit www.famfilmandphoto.com.

Degrees: BS in Cinema and Photography, Double Minor in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Ithaca College, 2002
Currently a MFA Candidate in Film/Electronic Media at American University.
