Meghan Hammiller

Meghan is a graduate film student at American University.  She has a background in theatrical lighting and directing.  In her film studies she works mainly in directing, editing and production organization.  Last year her film Guardian won the Best Dramatic Long Form award at the Visions film festival.  Meghan's most recent project, her thesis, is a feature length doc on the Maryland Renaissance Festival.  If she's in the New Media Center when you are, odds are she's editing that film.  Meghan has also done work in motion graphics.  One of her projects will be aired on Maryland Public Television during the EcoViews production produced in part with the School of Communications.

Degrees: BA in Theatre from Agnes Scott College.
Currently MFA Candidate in Film and Electronic Media from the School of Communications at American University.
