CHARTER
Purpose
The Real Estate Subcommittee is responsible on behalf of American University (University) for the oversight of potential real estate investment opportunities and similar matters related to development of the University’s facilities. The Subcommittee will review potential opportunities presented by the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, identify other opportunities and recommend action to the Finance and Investment Committee.
Organization
The Real Estate Subcommittee shall function as an ad hoc committee of the Finance and Investment Committee.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Subcommittee is concerned with University issues related to real estate acquisitions and plans for development of University facilities.
