CRITERIA: This is a highly competitive award to recognize the nominee’s sustained excellent academic record and exceptional academic success as exemplified by extraordinary publications, research, creative work, merit awards, or competitive selection for presentations at regional and national academic societies and conferences. Nominated students must be graduating seniors who are eligible to participate in the May 2014 commencement ceremonies.

NOMINATION PROCESS

  1. Students, faculty, and staff of the AU community may nominate students for the Outstanding Scholarship award.
  2. Nominations must be submitted to the nominee’s school/college dean by Friday, March 21 (extended to March 26 at noon) via the AU portal nomination form. Supporting materials (letters, resumes) should be attached to the portal nomination form in PDF format and as one document.
  3. Before completing the nomination, please review the criteria and submission process for each award.
