  • Mr. Freeman has extensive experience in government policy making. He is admitted to local and Federal Courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He worked in the White House as a Legislative Assistant to the President. He has held senior legal positions on three House Committees, and is an expert on House parliamentary procedure.

    He was Counsel and Parliamentarian of the House Judiciary Committee under three separate Chairmen of both parties. He is an expert on Constitutional Law and worked on many proposed Constitutional amendments and myriad Constitutional and legal issues within the Judiciary Committee’s jurisdiction. He was the staff counsel on three judicial and one Presidential impeachment. He subsequently served as Counsel and Parliamentarian to the House Committee on International Relations issues regarding authorizations for the President to use force in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    Mr. Freeman has written extensively in the area of science & the law. He has been involved in a broad ranging program to educate judges on scientific matters and has received many honors and awards for this work. He has taught bioethics at the law school level.
