Join Us For Mentorship Preview Day

Students and their families are invited to Mentorship Preview Day for an inside look at American University’s academics, social life, and unique diverse community. This special day will give you the opportunity to learn more about the Washington Mentorship Program, meet the program’s staff, and talk with past program participants.

Preview Day begins with check-in and a welcoming continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m., with optional 15 or 20-minute tours of the Tenley Campus, starting at 9:15 a.m. The formal program begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 p.m. If you are interested in learning more about the program please attend one of our Preview Days on Saturday, April 21, 2012 or Saturday, April 28, 2012.

RSVP is required and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we do expect each Preview Day to be at its capacity.

If You Can't Join Us On Preview Day...

This year the Washington Mentorship Program will be hosting Virtual Open Houses. In these, you can login using a link (that will be sent to those who RSVP’d prior to the event) and ask us questions with others in the group!

Virtual Open Houses will be held on:

  • Thursday, April 12 from 4-6pm
  • Tuesday, April 17 from 5-7pm
  • Wednesday, April 25 from 3-5pm

RSVPs are required and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. They can be e-mailed to mentorship@american.edu or indicated on the return BRC postcard enclosed in the letter from Vice Provost Violeta Ettle.
