Abroad at AU Programming

Abroad at AU strives to create an inclusive and active community by hosting many extracurricular activities and events throughout the term.
Students at a Nationals Baseball game
Activities have ranged from visiting key sites in Washington DC (the Capitol, the White House, the Pentagon and the Newseum), to sporting events (AU Volleyball, Nationals baseball and Wizards basketball) to on-campus and off-campus activities (making Valentine's Day cards for campus workers, ice skating on the Mall and kayaking on the Potomac) to community service opportunities (volunteering at DC Central Kitchen and So Others Might Eat).

Experience DC!

Students visiting the National Zoo
Students say these events allow them to see parts of DC they might not have thought to visit on their own and help make them feel more integrated in the city.
