Interesting Fact: "I came to AU as a music major, but once I had my first government class and took a tour of the Hill, I swiftly changed my major to Political Science. I now only use my musical background during highly competitive karaoke battles, but my knowledge of the Electoral College comes in handy surprisingly often!"

Most Recent Gift: $1000, split between SPA and SIS. Through her previous position as a CEO with a national nonprofit, AU hosted a candidate training program for her members, and her organization was pleased to make a $10,000 contribution to the Women in Politics Institute.

Why She Gives: "I put a lot into my experience at AU – in both on and off-campus opportunities – and I received back so much in return. Outside of the obvious friendships and educational experiences, I believe AU's location, emphasis on experiential education, and tradition of politically engaged students gave me a unique experience, which current and future students still enjoy. I am proud to support my school, and I am thrilled to see the progress AU makes in terms of the academic programs, campus development, and overall international presence."
