Antiracism and Environmental Justice: Latinx Imperatives

Join David J. Vázquez, Associate Professor of Literature and Critical Race, Gender, and Culture Studies at American University, for a virtual conversation as he speaks with Ramón Cruz, president of the Sierra Club, SIS/BA '98. The two will discuss environmental justice in Latinx communities, the recent Sierra Club commitment to anti-racism, and the prospects for anti-racist environmentalism in the post-Trump, post-Covid era.
