Julia advises students in the School of Communication in the fields of journalism, film, and public relations who are seeking internships, jobs, career guidance, and improved resumes and interviewing skills. She is interested in collaborating with faculty, alumni and employers to enhance the job-seeking opportunities for these students. Julia draws upon her previous advising experience with graduate students in international affairs at The George Washington University as well as her experience in human resources in the private sector. She is passionate about helping students identify and pursue their career interests and in helping them to think through career decisions. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs and Strong Interest Inventory assessments. She also teaches a one credit career class for juniors and seniors.
