- Mr. Wiebe began his career as an elementary school teacher at Burning Tree Elementary School where he taught third and fourth grade. He then spent five years as a coordinator in the Office of Human Resources and Development for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) where his primary function was to recruit and select highly effective teachers for the school system. In 2011, he joined the staff of the American Institutes for Research (AIR) as a senior consultant for educator quality where he consulted nationally with school districts on human capital and teacher effectiveness. He has served as an assistant principal at Wood Acres Elementary School and as principal intern at Wyngate Elementary School before being appointed principal in July 2016. Mr. Wiebe enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Washington, D.C.
