American University Museum and the Kreeger Lobby, Katzen Arts Center
Join the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center in celebrating the museum’s early spring exhibitions including, Lou Stovall: Vertical Views, Floating World: 19th Century Japanese Woodblock Prints, Tomokazu Matsuyama: Thousand Regards, and AU’s MFA First Years: Any Thoughts? Anyone?. The reception will feature a special demonstration of the woodblock printing process by master printer Tatsuya Ito used in the American University Museum exhibition Floating World, which explores themes of Sakura, U.S. and Japan relations, and Japonism.
