Provocative, bawdy, and insightful... this Studio 54 version of Cabaret will have you engaged from the onset. Memorable numbers such as Mein Herr and Maybe This Time are just part of this powerful story by Christopher Isherwood set in Berlin in 1931, as the Nazis are rising to power. We are enticed by the story of 19-year-old performer Sally Bowles, who works at the seedy Kit Kat Club, and her romance with an American writer named Cliff Bradshaw who travels to Germany for inspiration for a new novel. We learn that life is an odd cabaret, rife with challenges, turmoils, and the need to make bold choices.

Recommended for mature audiences. Contains adult themes.

In honor of Sylvia and Harold Greenberg, the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Greenberg Theatre "Art at the Heart" will take place on April 4 before and after the performance. Cabaret was the first production presented in the theatre. Come celebrate the anniversary with Department of Performing Arts alumni, faculty, students, and Sylvia Greenberg. Learn about the great history of the theatre as you see costumes, set models, and posters from previous productions. Close the night with celebratory toast and cake.
