Curriculum Vitae

I am an undergraduate student at American University majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Statistics. I began working in the Psychopharmacology Lab with Dr. Riley in the Fall of 2019 and I’m currently working with Hayley Manke on a project examining the effect of methylone pre-exposure on MDMA, MDPV, and fluoxetine-induced taste aversions. This study could provide insight on the effects of pre-exposure on the balance between a drug’s rewards versus aversions.

My research interests primarily lie in drug abuse and addiction. Specifically, factors that could predict abuse vulnerability, such as previous exposure, diet, etc. Following my degree, I plan to pursue graduate studies in behavioral neuroscience and continue to study drug abuse and addiction.
