Please Join Us for the 30th Anniversary Ann Ferren Conference Friday, January 11, 2019

The Center for Teaching, Research, and Learning is pleased to invite all faculty and staff to attend the Ann Ferren Conference on Teaching, Research, and Learning. The conference will be held on Friday, January 11th, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in multiple locations across American University's campus. This year’s program features 30 sessions, a morning plenary at which former Interim Provost Ann Ferren will talk about the current state of higher education; and a lunch plenary at which President Sylvia Burwell will moderate a faculty panel discussion on the scholar-teacher ideal (Panelists: Angela Davis, Laura DeNardis, Anthony Riley & Núria Vilanova). A dessert reception with musical entertainment concludes the conference after the last afternoon session.

2:45 pm – 4:00 pm Session Three (10 sessions)
