The CTRL Lab, is the physical home for the Research Support Group. Located in the second floor of the Hurst building, the facility includes a classroom with 21 computer stations and a general work room with 13 computers.
During our open hours, the CTRL Lab is staffed by our graduate-student consultants, who can provide drop-in support for specialized statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, and STATA, as well as qualitative software such as NVivo. For a full list of the software support, visit the Software Support & Tutorials page. Our consultants can also assist with research design, data management, interpreting statistical results, and other research-related tasks.
In addition the CTRL Lab hosts a variety of workshops, in-class tutorials, and research courses that have need of our specialized facility.
CTRL is committed to providing services to all faculty and staff regardless of disability and we will coordinate ways to bring services to an accessible location upon request sent by email or by phone (x3862).
