Teaching Resources

We have created a best practices list for many classroom situations called the Ten Take-Aways. The themes include Preparing to Teach, Assessing Student Learning, Teaching Strategies and Tech Tools, and have different ideas and strategies that will help enrich your teaching.

We offer one-on-one tutorials, individual consultations, custom group workshops, as well as a variety of instructional tools, all described in further detail on CTRL's Faculty Resources.

We also have the Open American Initiative, which offers logistical and technological support to AU faculty who make the switch from cost-bearing textbooks and other resources to freely available OERs.

Accessibility

CTRL is committed to providing services to all faculty and staff regardless of disability and we will coordinate ways to bring services to an accessible location. Request an accessible meeting (x2117).
