Come join us on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 4PM EST in the SIS for an afternoon of hands-on impact and inspiration!

 

We’ll be putting together science experiment kits for 5th graders at Parklawn Elementary in Fairfax County Public Schools — a school with an incredible STEAM program that brings learning to life. Your efforts will help spark curiosity and joy in their classrooms!

Here’s what’s in store:

Hear from Ms. Sanchez, a 5th grade science teacher from Parklawn Elementary, who will share what this means for her students.
Meet Rae Mowat, Managing Director on Teach For America’s Talent & Acquisition team, about launching a career in advocacy through education.
