SUMMARY:Workshop: Presentation Skills: Building Expertise and Confidence in Any Situation
DESCRIPTION:In this 90-minute workshop, attendees will learn how to clearly and compellingly present their work in any situation: conferences, media interviews, networking events and in a one-on-one setting.
 
Verbal presentation best practices will be explored, along with how to optimize body language, eye contact and voice to make a strong and memorable point. Additionally, audience engagement and visual strategies will be covered to make the full presentation experience come alive for attendees sharing their work. This workshop is open to all AU faculty and postdoctoral scholars.
