Commencement Tickets

Tickets are required for guest admittance to all ceremonies. Graduates will not need a ticket for themselves. Children under age 3 who will be sitting in an adult's lap during the entire ceremony do not require a ticket. If the child needs a seat of their own, they will require a ticket. All guests, including children three and older, must wear face coverings while on campus. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

An allotment of five (5) guest electronic tickets will be distributed to students who have registered to participate by ordering their cap and gown and have proof of vaccination on file through the Student Health Portal. Graduates will not be able to access their five guest electronic tickets until proof of vaccination has been uploaded to the Student Health Portal or graduates with previously approved medical and religious exemptions have been tested at the AU Campus Testing Facility in the Constitution building on East Campus and have shown proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken on Thursday, December 16 or Friday, December 17.  Graduates and their guests must abide by the Health and Safety Requirements for Fall Commencement. Registered students will receive a unique link to their AU email to access their electronic tickets approximately two to three weeks prior to the ceremony.

Graduates who do not need all their tickets can return them for redistribution on the electronic ticketing site. Graduates seeking additional tickets can sign up on a “ticket wait list” for the chance to receive one additional ticket. Students will be contacted if a ticket becomes available. We do not know how many tickets will become available at this time.

All ceremonies will be livestreamed on the commencement website.
